Help promote exciting programs, events, initiatives, and services in Residential Programs, Cornell Dining, the Community Centers, and other Campus Life units. Hours: 10-20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Pay: TBD, based on experience.
Marketing/Graphic Design Assistant - Academic Year Position Available
Description: Work with Campus Life Marketing staff on a variety of creative projects including design and layout of advertisements, fliers, and other promotional material. Some assistance with copy writing, research, special events/promotions, media relations, web page maintenance, and administrative support.
Qualifications: Knowledge of and experience using design and layout programs, preferably Adobe Creative Suite. Strong computer, writing, and editing skills. Must be organized and able to work under tight deadlines. Leadership and teamwork skills are required.
Web site/Social Media Assistant - Academic Year Position Available
Description: Work with Campus Life Marketing staff in maintaining the Campus Life web site and assist in building an online following through social media (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) by aligning social media promotional efforts with the organization’s other marketing activities. Duties include updating web pages, managing content, monitoring social media sites, and answering questions posted by customers online.
Qualifications: Knowledge of and experience with web site development and HTML are required, as are strong writing and editing skills. Must be committed to good customer service, and be able to work independently and under tight deadlines.
