What's doing for Fall Break 2018?

Fall Break is a wonderful time to relax and explore campus and the surrounding Ithaca community. If you are staying on campus, there are still plenty of events and activities going on.

Ho Plaza in AutumnDining options on campus

North Star Dining Room, Jansen's Dining Room at Hans Bethe House, and Becker House Dining Room will be open during fall break and accepting meal plan swipes.

McCormick's at Moakley House is open, and accepting BRBs! Check out their Cider Week Brunch on Sunday.
Anabel's Grocery has a Fall Break Giveaway with free food for Shoppers Club members from 4-5pm on Friday, October 5, at the Alternatives Library in Anabel Taylor Hall. Sign up for the Shoppers Club at

Community Centers

The Tatkon Center will be closed for Fall Break.
It's closing at 4pm on Friday, October 5 and reopening at 8am on Wednesday, October 10.
Robert Purcell Community Center and Appel Commons are both open over fall break, but with limited hours for the buildings and the service centers. Check each page for hours.

Apples to Cider: An Old Industry Takes New Root

This exhibit explores the history of cider making, its rise back to prominence and the contributions to both the industry and the agriculture of cider by the Peck Lab, Cornell's Hard Cider Program Work Team, and Cornell alumni.

Bring your furry best friend to this one hour concert for the animals featuring distinguished violinists, Tim Fain and Francisco Fullana, accompanied by Grammy Award nominated pianist Robert Koenig. Well-socialized pets are encouraged to attend.

Dilmun Hill Work Party

Dilmun Hill Student Farm (CUAES)

Support the Dilmun student-run farm on campus while experiencing the latest agricultural sustainability techniques. Volunteers may assist with installation of beds, planting, weeding, mulching or harvesting. Leave with fresh, farm grown produce.

Swing Dance Event
