Cornell Dining teams up with Wegmans for campus sushi offering

Cornell Dining is pleased to announce that we're teaming up with our neighbors at Wegmans Food Markets to provide a new, reliable source of freshly made sushi for our retail eateries on the Cornell campus.

Wegmans SushiEight different Wegmans sushi products will be available in ten of our eateries beginning Monday, April 17, including a Big Red Roll made just for Cornell. The lineup will include raw and cooked fish and seafood items, as well as vegan and vegetarian items.

Cornell Dining staff will still be making fresh sushi during weeknight dinners at Robert Purcell Marketplace Eatery. The Wegmans sushi line will be in our retail units alongside our Freshtake items.

Freshly prepared Wegmans sushi will be sold at Amit Bhatia Libe Café, Mattin's Café, Goldie's Café, Trillium, Green Dragon, Jansen's Market, Café Jennie, Atrium Café, Carol's Café, and Bear Necessities.

Wegmans is a century-old, family-owned, regional supermarket chain founded in Western New York, with a total of 92 stores, fully half of them spread throughout New York State. It has over 47,000 employees, and is one of the largest private companies in the United States. Their popular Ithaca store has been in Ithaca's southwest since 1988.
