The annual college rankings from Princeton Review are out, and Cornell Dining has leapt to 3rd in the rankings in the Best Campus Food category! It's Cornell's highest position ever in over twenty years of rankings.
Cornell has consistently ranked in the Best Campus Food top ten for the last several years among all colleges and universities in the United States. The rating comes from our own customers, and reflects the quality and variety of the food we serve, and our commitment to providing a memorable dining experience for everyone who eats a meal with us.
"We couldn't do it without each and every one of you on our team," says Gail T. Finan, Director of Cornell Dining and a graduate of Cornell's School of Hotel Administration. "Our high ranking once again is a testament to the effort our incredible staff puts in meal after meal, day after day, to make sure we serve wonderful food. I'm so pleased by this recognition for the excellent food we serve on campus"
The 3rd place ranking is up from 7th place last year, out of the 381 "best colleges" in the nation as ranked by Princeton Review, matching our 3rd place rank two years ago. The company, which is known for its test preparation and college admission advising services, surveys 140,000 college students each year to develop its rankings in 62 categories. It's the longest ongoing survey of student opinion in the country, reaching its 25th year this year. We held the 5th position in the Campus Food category three years ago, and the 8th and 11th before that.
