Health, Well-Being, & Safety

Cornell is a safe, healthy, welcoming campus community where students, faculty, and staff care for one another.

Living on campus provides you with a built-in support system.  Your resident advisors and graduate residence fellows, residence hall directors, house professors and assistant deans, and your faculty-in-residence, house fellows, and faculty fellows are there to serve as resources for you.  Talk to them when you have questions, concerns, and ideas, and anytime you just need to connect with someone.

Plenty of resources are available for students living off-campus, too.  Contact the Dean of Students Office, talk to your advisers, connect with the team in the Office of Fraternities, Sororities, and Independent Living, pay a visit to the team at Gannett Health Services.

Good nutrition and healthy eating habits are essential to overall healthy bodies and minds.  Cornell Dining's Registered Dietician and the entire Cornell Dining team want to work with you, whether you have specific dietary requirements or just want to pursue a healthier outlook on eating. Gannett Health Services has terrific resources in the areas of nutrition and healthy eating as well.
